| Audi Chicago I am concerned that the tranny is failing. I added new fluid and filter at around 90000 miles but that didnt cure the shifting problemconcerns. Audi Los Angeles. A complete torque converter flush has been suggested which may be next and which hopefully will cure the problem. |

| Audi Orange County Transmission problem is VERY common on prefacelift (up to 2000 models) cars. There is NO known cure for so called thumping and hunting in fourth gear around 40 mh the only way to fix it is a rebuild TC and valve body which is around $25003000 including installation. | Audi Washington Dc Beside a tranny issues the car is great so far I only did scheduled maintenance such as tranny oil and filter (this recommended to be done every 40k if you dont want your tranny die on you any time soon) I also did a timing belt (to be done every 90k!) with water pump and all tensionerrollerscam seals.
